There is absolutely nothing to be worried about...
really? what about the risk of body fluids?
Please check a same discussion going on at HIV forum at the link below:

"You were never at the risk of contracting HIV" Secondly, you "received" the oral sex so chances are almost zero for contracting any other STD...
One more thing, in order for infection to occur, three things must happen:
1) You must be exposed to pre-***, semen, vaginal secretions, blood or breast milk,
AND
2) The virus must get directly into your bloodstream through some fresh cut, open sore, abrasion etc.,
AND
3) Transmission must occur, directly from one person to the other, very quickly (the virus does not survive more than a few minutes outside the body).
oh i know i am not at risk for hiv. i am not reall concerned about that. it was the stds i was more concerned about. i forgot to mention i also performed oral sex on her but i think i know what my risks are for that one.
A shirt isn't going to be the best barrier, as its porous. However, the risk of getting gonorrhea or syphilis from oral sex are low.
You could get NGU, which is a non-specific infection in the urethra.
You can test for gonorrhea and chlamydia at 1 week, and syphilis at 6 weeks. You might consider getting an oral swab for gonorrhea as well, but its not likely that you would get oral gonorrhea from giving a woman oral sex.
Aj
what about her rubbing her vagina on my ****?
Sorry - that's the same risk - low but possible, and you can add hsv2 and hpv to the risk for that, but its pretty low.
Aj
oh ok. well glad to know my risks. its called frottage right?
so do you think there is reason for me to test?
Frottage is dry humping - with clothing on.
I don't see a big need to test, but knowing your std status is always a good idea.
Aj
ya your right but i am considering it just for peace of mind. how long do you suggest i wait to take the test, will 6 weeks be long enough?
I don't see a big need to test. The risks are small.
If you feel the need to test, you can test for gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU at a week, syphilis at 6 weeks, HIV at 3 months, and herpes at 4 months. There is no test for men for HPV.
Many people will show positive much sooner for HIV and herpes.
Aj
thanks. i will just wait the 6 weeks and test for the gono, chlamydia, and syphilis. since the risks are small i will just wait.
oh i read in another thread here that syphilis is uncommon in the U.S. is this true? cause i find that hard to belive.
Yes, its very true. There were just over 11,000 cases in the US in 2007.
Compare that to chlamydia, which has over 2 million new cases a year.
Aj
wow. how the hell does that happen.
How does what happen?
The low numbers of syphilis or the high number of chlamydia?
Chlamydia is spread that often because so many people who have it don't know it, and aren't getting treated.
AJ
so if say syphilis is becoming less common, will it eventually be gone?
Well, it almost was, but is starting to come back again.
You can check this out - http://www.cdc.gov/stopsyphilis/plan.htm
Aj
out of all the stds, syphilis is what i feel is the worse. it can really mess you up very very badly if left untreated. good thing its a bacterial infection.
Yes, it can, but if you test regularly, even yearly, for it, it won't have a chance to do any real damage.
It takes years to do any real harm.
Aj
one last question. how often do symptoms of any std actually occur? i heard that half of all cases show symptoms and the other half don't.
That's about right, overall, but some infections will always show symptoms, such as molluscum and syphilis. Whether you notice them or not is a different thing.
Aj
okay. its funny cause after my encounter with that girl, i went home and took some of that hand sanitizer stuff and freaking put all over my penis to clean it. i thought that might kill any germs from her. big mistake though cause it burned like hell.
