Chlamidia.? Could we still have it?

I recently started meeting someone.. And found out I contracted chlamidia. I went through the whole process quickly, day after intercourse I got tested, 10 days after got the results, and told my new partner straight away and we both got treated.. We both took 4 tablets in one go. However, we were advised to not have intercourse for 7 days, and we slept together 4 days after antibiotics. Could be be infected again?

usually herpes isn't included in std testing so be sure it was a part of your testing.

just wanted to make sure that you had both covered your std testing bases properly so that you aren't worrying about std's later on in this relationship :)

for most people, the antibiotics will make you not contagious within 72 hours but we recommend the week for a good reason - a good percentage of people will take that long for the virus to be eradicated and no longer be able to transmitted to others.  we don't tell you to wait a week before having sex again just to punish you dear :)
