Thanks. My mind keeps racing that while the vaginal intercourse was brief, only a few minutes, and not to ejaculation and I've had 2 negative tests (albeit the last one 2 months post incident) that just maybe. I was negative for everything but herpes which. I've had for 15 years.
Compounding my anxiety is my wife and I have now had sex.
From experience, anxiety can make symptoms or make you believe you have symptoms. The mind is powerful.
Thanks Vance. I will follow up with my Dr. I do admit that sense I stopped worrying every second and inspecting myself on the hour, the problems are getting better. Not sure how much anxiety plays a part in things but I'm sure it doesn't help.
All I have is to follow up with your Dr, does not seem to be STD related.
Thanks Grace. My GP, who also covers infectious diseases, gave me Nystatin powder for the jock itch and it's nearly gone.
I have herpes so that is not anything of new concern. My other symptoms seem to better too as my anxiety is better.
Summary, redness on tip of penis, very minor tingling on occasion (never burning when urinating), minor discomfort in testicles and lower abdomen on occasion and the minor clear discharge in the morning when I first get up and before I urinate.
Any last thoughts?
just a clear discharge without pain and only in the morning isn't likely to be related to a std.
since you have a wife, you need to cover your std testing bases and seek out a type specific herpes igg blood test 3 months post encounter too. your hepatitis testing and hiv testing was done early too but the risk of any of them from a one time encounter is incredibly low along with testing negative at 2 months means it's not likely you really did contract either.
jock itch can be hard to get rid of . are you using a topical antifungal cream 2x/day every single day on it?
grace
BTW, seen my GP 3 times and he doesn't appear to be alarmed.
Thanks. Think the anxiety is taking it's toll. I've had some of the same symptoms for years.
Hello
Phew, congrats on your test results let's stay that way.
The symptoms you describe are not alarming, if they don't go away in a week talk to a physician.
Since you say that you had unprotected vaginal sex, a single HIV antibody test is recommended at the 3 month mark (post exposure). If you take it today it will be conclusive. It should come back negative.
Also have a red rash in groin area that GP says is jock itch. Also indicated he saw no sign of infection on penus.
