very worried

Hi there,

I had unproteced vagin sex 6 weeks ago and got tested for chlamydia and gonnarhea 10 days post encounter.

I've recently went for a 6 week base line HIV test and Syphilis test at my family doc.

I got a rash on my penis head and foreskin 5 days ago which doenst resemple herpes and my doctor confirmed that he didnt feel that it was.

I read that a rash can be a sypmtom of syphilis.  Can anyone help.

No burning, no irritation, just a rash and some surrounding read dots.

It also doesnt resemble an ulcer.

Does the urine sample at 10 days test for syphilis as it was done at a walk in clinic.

Thanks.

why would you suggest the HIV test.  Does this resemble an HIV symptom.

Can anyone else offer some insight or feedback?

Thanks.

First a urine sample would not be the way to test for syphilis, only a blood test will do that. Symptoms of syphilis is a sore where the infection occured so it would be on your penis. The second stage is a rash most of the times on the soles of the feet and plams of the hands. Third syphilis is rare in developed countries and rare in women.
