Are fetishes/paraphilias sexy or a form of perversion?

What about fetishes/paraphilias?

If you're into them but, you do not have any known fact of them out in the public & no-one in your life knows, are you a pervert or are they healthy forms of sexual identification?

How do you tell people/your spouse/the world that you're into them w/out judgemental, prejudicial commentaries?

Or, do you feel that people who are into them are just big, disgusting kinky perverts?

Simple answer: if your partner likes it, it's sexy; if not, it's a perversion. And you should discuss it with your partner long before he/she becomes a spouse for obvious reasons.

   Hello,

Well, a fetish and a Paraphilia are actually two different things. Even though a Fetish can fall under the Paraphilia category.  Paraphilias are primarily male disorders.

Now looking at your 2nd post, you are speaking of what is done behind closed doors by two "consenting Adults!"  In that case...The answer is NO! Noone has the right (although they do) to judge anothers sexual preferances!  After all you are speaking of two Consenting Adults!

However, in your first post, you did not mention the part about it being "Consenting" between those involved.  In Paraphilia, there are "Sub Categories" if you will, that fall under that term. With that being said....YES! some...Well, many people freak out about that because under that Broad spectrum of types of Paraphilias comes ..."Pedaphilia!"
Of course this is not taken lightly by the majority of society nor the Law.

Also under the Paraphilia term comes Frotteurism which includes rubbing / touching
a "NON-Consenting" person! So that to is frowned upon!

So back to your Second Post!  If you have a partner or partners who are of age, and Consenting...then who cares what anyone thinks about it!  If that is what you like then that is your choice to make..Not anothers nor is it anothers to judge! Unfortunately, it just does not come off that easily...right ;)

Just because you may like to really explore your sexuality in several ways and others are stuck in their Ho- Hum sexual activities does NOT make yours wrong!

Hope that helps to answer your question..
Take Care and Be Safe,

Do people "deserve" what they get as claimed by the so-called PC people of our society? People that judge others by their bedroom activities between 2 consensual adults?

So, if you put yourself out there on a fetish website, do you deserve what you get?
