Female Compulsive Masturbation

I’m pretty sure I have a problem with masturbation.  I masturbate between 5 and 9 times a day.  Probably closer to 8-9 times.  I can’t control how much I get turned on and the compulsion to masturbate every time to relieve the arousal.  I masturbate once in the morning when I get up every day, I never don’t do this.  I sometimes masturbate on my way to work in my car and about 2 or 3 times, on average, at work.  Being at work is my biggest problem, I’m getting to the point where I can’t really concentrate because I’m consumed by thoughts of when can I get away to do it, where can I do it.  I feel compelled to do this at the very least 2 times and have done it as many as 6 times in one day.  I am getting to the point where it is controlling my workday.  I then masturbate every day, no exceptions, in my car on the way home and I then usually masturbate twice in the evening and I have in the past woke up in the middle of the night more than once to relieve myself.  I can’t control this any longer and need help, I have no idea why I am so aroused and aside from that I feel I should still be able to control my compulsion to masturbate every time I am aroused like this but I can’t I have to do it and it is getting more frequent and the necessity is way higher.

I would like to be driving next to you! I'm turning 71, I started masturbating at about age 9 or 10. I'm married and either have sex with my wife or masturbate 5-6 times per week. We sometimes masturbate together.
I've had my testosterone checked last year and it's like a 30 year olds.
I truly think it's because of good diet and exercise.

I think you either suffer from an addiction to masturbation or have the psychological disorder of OCD.Google OCD and read the symptoms. If you feel like you can relate to the disorder find a qualified psychologists and explain your situation. With therapy and understanding your issues you can change them. You seem very intelligent and open to understanding your problems so I think this will be good for you. If you do not feel like you can relate to OCD I would agree you have an addiction. Seek a psychologist for that as well.

I don't think it's a decease. sexuality varies with hormones and hormones vary with age and life experiences and sometimes even with various foods or meds..
if shared with your partner it could actually be fun to simultaneously masturbate if one finds an understanding partner or group of close friends. There are much worse health conditions one can worry about than simply masturbating 10 times a day, in my opinion.

I live with a female who continuously masturbates at night. She thinks i don't know and tries to hide it but i've notices it and to act normal. However, it is now effective our sex life....at times she prefers to masturbate alone than have sex and this makes me sexually frustrated and felt unwanted.

Possible solutions are various, my friends tell me to just leave....other encourage me to find a secret sex buddy and others want mt to tell her and face reality....but she denies it every-time I mention the subject.

Yet, sometimes she refuses sex....i pretend to sleep and she starts to masturbate continuously some 8 or more times. I refuse to understand that this could be better than actual sex and definitely kills my personal sexual esteem.

So females in this situation should take this into consideration that even though I love my partner i might have to just leave one day soon....and since she denies all this, I can't even justify my actions. Sad, very sad but reality is not a fairytale with happy endings.

Is she actually mastubating or just sleeping with her hands down there. Just like some men are known to do...women do that too...

I think that it is possible that you have a condition called persistent genital arousal disorder. It can arise from many things such as nerve damage, hormone problems, or cysts. I would talk to a doctor. A urologist is typically the doctor to see for this issue. try to find one that specializes in female urology. I have had this condition for about 5 years and have greatly seen an improvement with treatment. Mine was caused by a cyst in my urethra. good luck!
