If you have had an STD does it stop you from getting in the Armed Forces?

I am applying for the armed forces and up to the part where I have to complete the medical questionnaire. It asks "Do you or have you ever suffered with genital problems including venereal disease" I have had chlamydia and been treated for it so if I tick yes will it stop me from getting in?

Besides, I don't know why an STD would prevent you from getting into the military.  A whole lot of people get an STD while IN the military.

I think they would just ask you more about it, and wouldn't be worried if it had been successfully treated.  However, a treated case of chlamydia is not the kind of thing they are looking for.  They want to know if you have a present, active VD.
