Can Bacterial Vaginosis affect my sex partner???

If I have bacterial vaginosis and had unproteted sex, is it possible to affect my partner? I know it's not an STD, but is it possible in any way that he might get an infection too?

Bacterial vaginosis is just that....BACTERIA. Any type of bacteria can cause an infection.
Always use protection!
