Micropenis

A few days ago my girlfriend asked me about the average penis length. I told her that I didn't know and that she should google it. She opened a link with a bunch of information and articles, one of the most significant articles was one labeled "Micropenis"

It said something about when some men are fully erect, their penis length adds up to around 7 cm (3 inches) and even smaller when not erect

Now my problem is a bit different but slightly related. When not erect, my penis stands at 3 inces on a good day. But whenever  I am fully erect it stands at a good 7-8 inces.

Normally I'm just proud that my penis length is above average sized (at least when erect) but recently my girlfriend has been hinting me that's she's ready to have sex and I can't help but think that this will put a halt on our relationship when she finds out and I would honestly like to save myself the embarrassment of the discussion with her.

If someone knows anything about how to solve or at least treat this problem, please let me know. I would be eternally grateful

Sexual excitement is in the brain, not the measuring tape.  If she is interested in sexual intimacy, it is not so she can assess your length.  Three inches is not a micropenis, and seven inches when erect is going to be a bit long for most women, as you will possibly bonk her cervix.  So go gently, and with enthusiasm!!! and the issue will not be an issue.  Only men compare themselves to other men, women don't.

I'm not understanding why you would be embarrassed. You are perfectly fine.
