Pain and Bleeding

when i start my period i use tampons and its all fine, after about 3 or 4 days inserting and taking the tampon out hurts, ive been using tampons for 3 years, im 18.  it hurts so bad to take them out, now its been three days past when i ussuly stop bleeding, but i am still bleeding, and i am using tampons to control that flow, is it possilble this pain is the tampon ripping or tearing the vaginal wall? and could this tearing cause the bleeding i am still experianceing??

please help..

i have also been having dischage and have been checked out alot of times but they say nothing is wrong.. green dischage and nothings wrong..

It's very possible that the bleeding is related to the tampon use... during the last days of our cycles, there's obviously less menstrual flow. So, my guess is that that ripping feeling could be a result of the dry tampon fibers tugging at the delicate interior lining of a vaginal wall that now has less moisture. And, it would make sense that there would be some bleeding and pain accompanying that tugging and pulling. Personally, I never use tampons for the reasons that you described. Try using sanity pads instead and, see if there's a difference.
Now, as for the discharge... you say that it's green? When I hear that a discharge is yellowish, green or somehow off-color, I'm thinking... infection. I think that you should go back to where you were checked out or go to another medical care provider to be re-examined. If they still insist that there's "nothing wrong," ask if they can at least give you something for the discomfort and pain.

The pain can be caused because at this stage in your period your flow is less and the tampon is absorbing to much.
You might want to try a diff. size of tampon for lighter flow or use a pad.

Good luck!!!

also i feel pads ar uncomfortable beacuse u can feel everyting etc, but i think it would be a smart idea to try them just to see if the tampons are the cause of the bleedding
