Ripping during sex?

Last night I had sex for the first time in 3 months and it hurt a bit and this morning I noticed around the opening of the vaginal hole there is what looks like a cut and skin splitting.

Is this normal?

Hi, thanks so much for your help with my question! The day after we had sex I could hardly sit down it hurt so much but now it just feels like it is burning a bit. Is this normal? It has been 5 days now??

Hi,
Tears can and do certainly occur when there is a lack of lubrication, or rougher than normal sex, etc.  If the bleeding has stopped, just keep the area clean and dry and keep an eye on it.  If it is still bleeding and looks like it needs a stitch or two, then go have it looked at.  But usually the tears heal on their own after a few days and of course, avoid any sexual intercourse that could tear it even more.  Good luck to you :)
