UTI's and Sex

Everytime my fiance and I have sex a few times in one night or 3 days in a row or so I get UTI's...I am anal about peeing after sex...I always do, but for some reason I still get UTI's. I have also been tested for chlamydia and that came out negative. It is just very frustrating to go through this and I'm really worried about our honeymoon!! Anyone have any ideas? I take canberry supplements and drink cranberry juice a lot too! I am just at a loss...

yes I have been to the doctor and told that they are UTI's...and my husband has good hygiene so I don't think that's the problem...perhaps I am just more prone to getting them! And I'm not familiar with a macrobid...what is that?

i think you should drink lots of water. This will help you a lot.Just try this.Water will clean up your system, make u healthy and also imp,,, thing it will give u more addiction to anal sex or whatever you want.If their is inf.. it will also throw it out frm your body.It will make u horny tooo.Just drink minimum 8-10 glasses of water daily.First before going to wash room in the morning(around 2-3 glasses).

My question is how do you know they are UTI's? Has a Dr. diagnosed that for you? The reason I ask is because if the remedies you have been trying are not working, it's possible it could be something else. This may sound like a silly question, but is your husband clean before sex? If he is using his hands, well we all know what kind of nasty stuff live on our hands when not washed!

And you lucky lucky girl getting it multiple times a day =)

Unfortunately, some people are just prone to getting urinary tract infections. Have you spoken to your doctor about what you can do to help prevent them. Peeing after sex and cranberry juice / supplements are good preventative measures.. but they don't seem to be doing the trick for you. It sounds like you notice a pattern of when they pop up, so for your honeymoon, maybe you can make sure you don't have sex a day or two beforehand and keep the vaginal sex to one time that night. Have you spoken to your fiance about your tendency to get urinary tract infections? I'm sure he will be understanding, and the two of you can certainly do other things to cut down on the vaginal intercourse until you can find better preventative measures.
