Vaginal Tear

My boyfriend and I had sex March 3 and it is now 2 days later.. but when  we had sex i was wet but it still hurted when he tried to enter.. i figured it had just been a while so i was tight.. well after i bleed and noticed that he tore me a little.. and i was wondering why it happened? and when will it heal? it hurts extremely bad when i use the bathroom to where tears come to my eyes.. also when i sit wrongly! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

yes indeed it was too rough... it really scared both of us afterwards and i will def. look into the appointment first thing monday morning... i will do the bath and the medicine as well! thanks so much for taking the time to respond cause the pain is really bad mostly when i have to use the toilet.. lol THANKS AGAIN! I GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

Hi:) IMO ur bofriend was a lil too rough with u. U should always have a tube of lubrication handy. It helps:) When, if, and how it heals depends on the severity of the tear. First degree tears are not bad at all. They often don't require stitches and will heal naturally. Second degree tears are deeper into the tissues, require a few stitches, and then heal well afterward. Third degree tears involve the rectal muscles, and fourth degree tears enter into the rectum. These tears require more time and stitches to repair. I would suggest making an appt if u are indeed in that much pain. For relief now u can use ibuprofen. Doctors usually recommend ibuprofen for any pain following stitches. Sitting in a warm bath that only covers hips and buttocks can sometimes help. Ice wrapped in a cloth or chilled witch hazel pads applied to the area are sometimes used to dull the pain. I do hope u get relief ASAP. Good luck!
