When should the V card be checked in?

I know these days teen are trying to check in their "V-card"  faster than they plan on doing the chores mom and dad give them. Especially with the whole summer romance thing or giving it up before the summer is over. Now, what do you think, at what age should the V card be checked in and if so, do you think teens should have sex? I do mean Tweens as well.

I had a friend who said who cares about this, more virgins for me to be their first. I personally decided to wait til 20 since I was so euuuh and no thank you about it *plus I had made a promise to myself that I was not going to end up preggo like everyone in my city does* I have so many sisters. Ranging from 19, 17, & 13 (not counting my little sis) & my mom has taught them so well that they are not interested in that like most girls in there age are....where I come from in my city. A 19 year old has at most 3 kids already. By 13 some are already pregnant. I am very open minded, so let me hear it...what do you think? I would like to hear from those that have sisters or daughters

I never set an age I just waited until I found someone I truly loved that wasn't going to take advantage of me. I was 16, which is legal, and so was he, and we have been together for over a year now. He respects me and I have not once regretted it. I do not believe people should go off an age, just wait for the right person. I would have waited happily until I was 20 or more if I had not found him. I believe that we will marry one day, we talk about it sometimes, and I don't ever want to have sex with anyone else. I do think that 16 is a little young even though I don't regret it, and I think 17-20 would be a good age with the right person. Also you should make sure you know things such as safe sex and things like that before you have sex. Hope this helps (:

The age at which a person loses their virginity should be left to the individual.  My sister lost hers at 19.  Everyone is different.  I say, so long as they are mature and in tune with their body enough, let them.

It is a good idea to teach young kids and teens the benefits of waiting until they can stand on their own two feet before having children, and to practice safe sex.
