I agree with the above response. stop shaving. a small amount of hair will cover up the scars, but you can try some of the creams and see if they help. The skin there may be too sensitive but who knows, a dermatologist is your best bet. you don't have to shave to keep the hair under control....you can trim, and that's your best option. you can try the over-the-counter creams like Maderma in the meantime, but I'm not sure how effective they are.
If it hasn't occurred to you already, STOP SHAVING! If you have truly deep scars, then there isn't a whole lot you can do about them short of plastic surgery which you can't afford. There are, however, creams that can reduce the outward appearance of "stretch" marks. See a dermatologist for evaluation and discussion of such options.
