Pain after sex

Hi. I have been with my boyfriend for more than a year... and he always tells me that he feels pain on his penis after sex. Normally before and after my period, I am not very wet and sometimes I feel pain too. But he said it's not just those time. It does not happen always tho.
I had a yeast infection last year and I went to the doctor as soon as possible and both of us took medicine for that (the Dr. said just in case he got infected too...) I am not sure if it is still some kind of infection or what.. or something else...
Can someone help me please?

if one has sex frequently enough, the penis is sure to pick up little scrapes and scratches that can be irritating and slightly painful..try taking a break for a few days and see how it goes
