insight on reoccuring reddish bumps

I have been having reoccurring red bumps on my penis shaft over the past 7 weeks. Each time they are in a different place on the shaft of the penis, each time it is just one bump at a time. (5 total at different times over that period). They are not large (about the size of a pimple, but its not a pimple) and don't hurt or puss anything. Only thing I notice is that it looks kind of shiny after a day or two on the skin in that area. I have been tested for herpes 1&2 and both came back negative (last possible exposure to anything was 7 weeks ago prior to test). Also was tested for syphillis (syphilis) which was negative also.
The bumps don't really hurt and last for 4-5 days then seem to go away. Have also been having a couple small red dots (like someone just dotted it with a writing pen) show up right after sex on the shaft but they disappear usually within 24hrs......I feel embarrassed to go back to the DR again seeing that I have seen him about this issue 3x in the past 7 weeks.Thing that bothers me is no conclusion has been met. But feel it is something i need to address.
Any insight on treatment or what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the response Dr.Kaur. Only thing strange about these bumps is when they go away a small area of red raw looking skin is there for a day or 2 then it drys up and heals which is strange to me. Doesnt hurt and always just one bump/sore. Just scares me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since the bumps go away after 4-5 days, chances are more that these are due to folliculitis. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin.It starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
