Long term use of sleeping pills is not good.
My wife had been using a generic form of Ambian for years (at least 4 or 5 years). Then recently she was diagnosed with "tremors" that materialized as hand shaking, so much that it made her hand writing almost illegible It also make typing a problem, so even putting something in type was a problem for her.
She moved form Ambian on a suggestion form our MD son to another drug (don't recall the name - can look it up) that is for depression and insomnia. She found see was sleeping better, and Surprise!! he hand quit shaking.
I was looking for some place to put this experience down . do no mean to hijack this thread.
Good music can help put the mind a rest as well as do other things..
Hi there,
Thanks for sharing it with us.
I was on Zolphidem for 7 years! It started out as anxiety due to my heart issues and from there on Doctors were just to happy to prescribe it to me.
I still take 2mg Melatonine and 20mg Temazapam and listen to my relaxation music. Hopefully one day soon, I'll be able to sleep without any Temaz.
