Reoccurring dream that is scaring me

I'm only 15 and having this dream that has happened twice in a row. The night before last (February 10, 2014) and last night (February 11, 2014). Today is the 12th. The nightmare is scaring me. I don't want it again. Here it is:
I'm sitting in the middle of my room. It's dark (I'm afraid of the dark) and my door is shut. I'm looking at it and hear a fuzzy breathy sound. My door slowly starts to open and when it's open half way i see the start of a huge man's figure. I only see half of him and the sound gets louder. I'm paralyzed. And that's when i wake up. But i wake up with a short of breath and i cannot move for about a minute or so after waking up.
There are just two things i want to know. 1) What does this nightmare mean?? 2) How do i get rid of it?? Please help me. It will be greatly appreciated.

You sleep in cycles light sleep, rem stage is the dreaming stage. While in this stage your large muscles are paralyzed so you dont act out ur dreams and hurt yourself. Sometime during ur rem sleep u may wake for a few seconds (sometimes numerous) during this "hypnopompic" stage ur brain is still dreaming and ur muscles are still paralyzed although you can see hear smell (but not scream) this also known as old hag syndrome. I personally experience a witch who sits on my chest and forces my mouth open. Imagine waking up cant move cant breathe (but are still dreaming) ur mind is going to try to explain in a dreamstate what is going on? ok. Try not to sleep on your back as this causes breathing problems. Close the door to your bedroom as i believe the feeling of someone intruding is linked to our cavemen days and a fear of anything will come from the obvious enterance cave mouth, open door open window. Sleep paralysis (old hag syndrome) is well documented and is the prime suspect in the salem witch trials. The fear part of the brain is close to the sexual part which is (i believe) that many sleep paralysis are accompanied by very lucid sexual dreams (inncubus and succubus for the ignorant) i believe it is synapsis misfiring.
