Sex while asleep

My partner of 4 years wants sex while he is sound asleep. It is the oddest thing. This is true. I was surprised and hurt when we were in the middle of sex he turned over and went to sleep. Or he will ask me why his underwear were off when he woke up. One time he jokingly told me "ok, no more raping me while I am asleep". Why does this happen?

Its right i am too having sexsomnia from past 5 years gone to many doctors bu t did't got any treatment yet i am worried about this disease alot.Kindly save my life if anyone having treatment

Yeah I did abit of research, and Sleep Sex or "Sexsomnia" is formally called NREM Arousal Parasomnia, NREM standing for Non-Rapid Eye Movement (stage in sleep).

So yeah, it's normal, it's just like sleep walking, but getting a little "excited" in the process.

I've heard of this, it's rare, but it's like sleep walking, but instead of walking, he gets aroused and tries to have sex.
It's nothing to worry about, it's actually a type of sleep disorder, I'm currently on computers at my university, so it wont let me type anything into google that has the word "sex" in, so I'll get back to later with more.
