Difficulty sleeping, and random shooting pain in limbs?

I have difficulty falling asleep, and I get random shooting pains all over my body. I'll be normally typing on my laptop, then my arm will ping (no better way to describe it) and it will really hurt for about four seconds. Then it just fades to a faint but uncomfortable ache, and I can carry on as usual. The places that I particularly notice hurting: Arms (just below the elbow), thighs, neck and chest (around my heart). It happens about once or twice a week.
I don't know if the pain is a result of the sleeplessness?
I'm thirteen, and this has been happening for as long as I can remember.
When the trampoline was up, I would bounce, but on bad days my chest would hurt every time I hit the trampoline. I was scared to tell anyone, because I didn't think my parents would take me seriously, so I just kept going.
Also, sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place. I had difficulty finding my way around the website.

They are unrelated. Try to think of something that you like to do when you go to bed,and think slowly about it and likely you will fall asleep quickly.
