I completely agree with your post. I mean a Doctor refusing to see a long term patient without giving them good cause sounds kind of odd. My husband is a cop and I'm just throwing this out there but he deals with people on meds all the time (like attempted suicide, or the person just goes crazy) and it turns out that their Doctors were a bit liberal with the prescription pad, I'm not insinuating that gemmajd is abusing medications but maybe her Doctor is getting heat for something he did with other patients? Either way I would be questioning him and his office. Not to mention that it could be dangerous to come off of her med cold turkey. I hope you find out what's going on and that you get the help you need gemmajd.

I can't imagine any doctor just abandoning a patient without a good cause...have you missed appointments or taken your medications improperly? I would ask him for a writen explaination as to why he won't see you any more or write you prescriptions. You can call his office and request this information from his staff. Also, if he still refuses it treat you, ask for a verbal referral to someone else.

Good luck to you.

Your Doctor just refused to stop treating you for no reason? That sounds odd, have you asked him why he is doing this?
