Hello and hope you are doing well.
The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to an entity called hypnagogic hallucinations, which are hallucinations which occur between sleep and awakening. This is the symptom of a sleep disorder called Narcolepsy. This sleep disorder is characterized by excessive day time sleepiness, sleep paralysis, cataplexy where the person has episodes of loss of muscle function while awake, hypnogogic hallucinations and automatic behavior. You will need to consult your primary care physician, who may schedule you for a polysomnogram (sleep test) to rule out sleep disorders and initiate appropriate therapy.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
"A person may wake up and find himself unable to move or speak as if he is frozen. He also may hear footsteps, see a ghost-like creature, or feel someone sitting on his chest. Throughout the history, people considered this phenomenon as work done by evil spirits. However, the modern science can explain the terrifying event as a Sleep Paralysis."

Thank you for your responce trolleater Im not sure what I believe I do think theyre visions and even though it sounds selish if they do need my help I dont want to get involved and wish they'd go away as Im a single parent with only a sausage dog to protect me lol
You might want to look at other avenues such as paranormal experiences, it is said that some people are more sensitive and can have actual sightings were other people do not, you have had this for awhile so it could be your ability, if you do not believe in these things then talk to someone in mental health about what is going on, but if it is a paranormal experience dont be afraid it is a gift and you should not be scared of it, maybe you can find others like you and see if perhaps there is some way you can help these lost souls find what they are looking for.....It might sound crazy but alot of people besides yourself say they have these kind of sightings, search the internet and I am sure you can find someone else just like you. But once again if you do not believe in these things then see a mental health professional and they might be able to offer an explanation as to why you are seeing this... me I am not sure one way or the other, but years ago I had an experience with what I can only call a ghost as I have no other rational explanation .. weird and right before Halloween ..
