Bone aching

For the past year I've been experiencing my bones aching in my shins. It's painful when I'm sitting down but, the pain escalates when I put pressure on it. I don't understand what this could be I mean I'm only 14 and I'm already gettin aching bones. If anyone knows what this is I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.
Thanks

It could also be growing pains or shin splints. Did the pain start suddenly or did it come on gradually? Does it hurt worse at certain times of day or after certain activities?
