My 13 year old girl is losing her eyebrows.

About 4 months the middle section of hair in each of her eyebrows started thinning.  Now it looks like some one removed the hair in a straight horizontal line through the middle of each eyebrow and now the edges of the eyebrow are thinning also.  There is no redness are signs of infection and she appears fine in all other ways.  Can this be part of her body preparing to start menstruation? Or should I be more concerned?

Is it possible that she is trying to pluck her eyebrows and hasn't admitted that to you yet? If her eyebrows are truely thinning out on their own, then her hair would also be thinning out. Try and talk to her and if you get nowhere that way, take her to see her pediatrician to make sure she is healthy.
