Possible Pregnancy? Scared out of my mind.

I have been on birth control (the pill) for the past year or so, but recently they gave me the generic version of the pill I've been taking rather than what I normally get. I wanted to avoid my period, so I skipped over it using the new birth control pills. My boyfriend and I then had unprotected sex (yes, it was stupid, but it was late at night and our supply had run out), and he withdrew before he came. This was all about two weeks ago.

A few days ago I began to feel my breasts become very sore, and realized it was a symptom of pregnancy. Now I am stressing out thinking that I am pregnant. I am now feeling bloated, along with sore breasts. I took a home pregnancy test, but it is too early to tell because I am due for my period in a week. I am extremely nervous and have been stressing about this for the past few days, I cannot help but think that I am pregnant, but I really hope I am not. Please help me!

The spotting can easily be from switching to a new birth control pill, so try not to worry about it. Just wait for your period to come and if it's late, take a home pregnancy test.

Thanks for the advice!

My period is due this upcoming Saturday, and I've been spotting. I'm not sure if this is implantation bleeding or just normal spotting. I'm sure I'm reading too much into this but who knows.

You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex and get an accurate result. As long as you have been taking your birth control pill every day at the same time, then I doubt you're pregnant. Try not to stress out because that can cause you to be late, which will further stress you out. If your period is late, take another home pregnancy test, but I don't think you are.
