Scrotum Itch
I had a rash on my scrotum about a month back and the skin of the scrotum came off. With meds and cream from my dermatologist, the skin grew again in 2 weeks.. After that I have irritations on my scrotum. It is a bit flaky. It itches a lot (specially after I come home from school). When Im playing or busy, it does not. Now the scrotum turned reddish(probably due to the scratching) and is irritating me a lot. I dont know the cause of it but its irritating me a lot.. Please please help me.. What should I do?

Can you call the dermatologist for further advice? Perhaps it is a yeast infection. You might try lotrimin AF, an over the counter athletes foot/jock itch ointment. For my son who is an athlete, showering often and using a blow dryer after showering can help dry the area before using the ointment.
I used your advice and used a fungicidal cream and the itching has recovered 2 a great extent, within a day. The reddish colour is not gone though

I have to scratch it even if I dont want because otherwise it disturbs me a lot. Please suggest some home remedies for me.. Coconot oil is not helping. Is it fungus outbreak? My mother askd me to tight clothes all the time so as to not expose the scrotum as it might happen due to the dust and germs in the air..
