Sick daughter and no answers.

My daughter has had medical issues for the past 5 years and is curently 14. Any help would be very useful. Her symptoms are; headaches, joint pains, muscle pains, unrestful sleep,  anxiety, deppression. Also important is past medical history. She has had hematomas.. which left an indent in her head, multiple broken bones  and otherwise unremarkable. We are at our wits end and have no answers to her medical issues please help.

Hi chickensoup. I'm a licensed medical assistant and will give you the best advise that I can but I advise you to seek help from a doctor. Seeing as you mentioned that she is now 14 and has been having this since she was 9, as odd as it may sound, it is possible that it can be her hormones. This is just a guess as I truly don't know and I don't want to tell you yes it this or this and be wrong but this is possible and I say that from my own experience. I went through puberty early. I had a good sized chest by the age of 10 and had my first period at 11. It could very well be her hormones as hormone can cause strange things and what you have mentioned I had as well. I especially remember the headaches and joint pains and over the years I slipped into depression and anxiety and still suffer from it from time to time. Seeing as she is 14 I would advise you to take her to see a gynecologist and have her hormone levels tested and sit down and talk to the gunk about her symptoms. As I said this is coming from personal experience as well as my training. I'm not saying this is definitely what it is. I hope I helped you a little and as I said it is entirely up to you if you want to take my advise or not, just here to try and help but either way I would advise you to see a doctor as soon as possible and especially the gunk as she is 14 so she's about the age that she should start visiting one. As I said hope this helped a little and hope everything works out for you and good luck to you and your daughter. Keep me updated if you feel like it if you find anything out. (:
