I wouldn't take the hormone pill.  I think that it's probably just normal growing pains.  Some of us do get the swelling and the tenderness in the breasts even as much as two weeks prior to the period.  I think the progesterone cream is the better option.  Another natural cream is made from a natural yam that usually is used at the other end of a woman's life when she is going through menopause, but it could likely help.  I would start with the natural options first.

Obviously, speaking to a doctor when this is all rather new to you is an excellent idea.

Hey sweetie, it sounds alot like it's just growing pains. You're in your peak of growth at around 14 because your body is transforming from a girl's to a woman's it's all normal and if it is bothering you it is worth talking to your GP about going on a contraceptive pill.

I presented with sore breasts which were so sore to the touch, Found out I had costo chronditis which is an inflammation of the sternum area. I took some anti inflammatorys that sorted it out.   Speak to your doctor for a proper evaluation.

When I was having regular periods, my breasts would get sore about a week before I started, some I guess start hurting earlier however. I would say it is probably due to fluctuating hormones.

Oh, one thing that I have heard other women say that helps, it is "natural progesterone cream" you can get it at any health food store and it will not hurt you. It would sure be worth a try. Just put about a fourth of a teaspoon on your breasts or inner arm starting day 14 to day 28 of your non bleeding time. Day one is the day of your period, so, you count from there, then, like I said, when you reach day 14 you can begin to use it, usually on day 28, your flow starts again.

Hope this helps.
