Teen Health

I have a 17 year old granddaughter who has a  few times passed out while vomiting.  This had not happened for a while, but she was sick the other night and passed out a couple of times.  She comes to very quickly and knows she has done  it.  What might be causing this and should we be taking her to a doctor.

Yes...to a doctor immediately, please.  I lost my 27 year old son in a similar manner (though alcohol contributed to the situation).

my best bet is to get her into a doctor immediately to see why these episodes could be happening. god forbid her passing out while she is throwing up if no one is there to watch over her and she chokes.

-best wishes!
