Im a 15 year old female and i weigh 115ibs. and am 5"8. i have struggled with weight issues my whole life and thought i would find the quick fix solution by taking laxatives. When i was 135ibs they helped me get down to the weight i am at now but im still not skinny enough i take about 90 laxatives every 14 days. I'm dying to be thin and am totally addicted to them. Is this dangerous?

I am 17 years old and i personally (like most of my peers) like a healthy looking girl, not rail skinny but not fat.   id say 135 140 is definately ideal for you looks and health wise.    you gotta remember what guys actually look for in a womans body, they look for chest, butt and thighs all of which come with a certain amount of weight.   so trust me dont worry about losing weight.

now about the laxitives.    your anorexic/ bolemic (not sure what class laxitives will go under).    that is a disease you need to stop it i think its 20% of women die from their eating disorders if they go untreated.    for men the death rate i believe is even higher (but dont take my word on either of those statistics).     but they are deadly diseases and they need to stop.    your body is still growing and it needs nutrients.

also all of the food you eat still goes through your intestines (maybe at a smaller rate) so taking laxitives is really getting rid of water weight not so much weight weight.

Taking laxatives exessively is VERY dangerous. You can maintain a healthy weight by simply eating healthy, eating in proportions, and exercising. Believe it or not most guys do not find rail thin women attractive. You could sign up for exercise classes or take up a new sport. The last thing you should be doing at 15 is worrying about your weight. I think 135 if more healthy for 5'8 then 115. Your body is still growing and if you mess with your weight now you are going to have more complications down the line. If you are seriously addicted to laxatives you need to tell a parent, doctor, friend, or counselor. If you are still in school you should tell the nurse or a teacher/ guidance counselor. They can help you find the help you need. This is considered an eating disorder.
