No period, clamps and brown spotting...

I'm 17 years old, and completely sure I'm not pregnant (I'm a virgin)....
Usually I got my periods about 15th-20th day of each month, but this time my last period was on sept and it hasn't come yet....
This is what I've started doing since this summer:
-I started taking one daily dosage of Eutirox (evothyroxine sodium) 75mg (I have hypothyroidism)
-I've been under a lot of stress (trying to get into College, get an scholarship, family issues)
-Because I'm allergic to fish, I am taking Omega-3 capsules...
-I'm a chubby girl, so I'm taking natural supplements to help weight-loss

CONGRATS!! Study hard, it will be the best thing you can do for yourself! Try and stay away from drugs and alcohol; they will only bring you down! (I don't know why I'm writing that.....it sounds like you are on the right path to begin with!! :) :)  )

Thanks Grendslori!!
But finally today my period arrived (I've never been so happy for a period! lol)
But I really think it was due stress, because I started my admission process and I'm in! yay!! and I didn't get an scholarship, but my college counselor told me that I can ask for one in my second semester if my grades are good... so I guess my stress levels will come down (;

First off, congrats on trying to lose some weight! :)

To answer your question. Brown spotting is old blood which has been retained. Stress in your life can certainly postpone your period, that happens all the time to women. See you OB/GYN for a check up, especially that you are taking perscription drugs; they may be playing a part in this as well.
