When having your doctor write a script for Acella, should he write it for Acella or NP Thyroid? When I call pharmacies they haven't heard of Acella and say it's not in their formulary. But on here I've seen where if they tell them NP Thyroid they look it up and find Acella. So how should i have him write it. He seems willing to try things but admits he doesn't know much about anything other than synthetic thyroid ie; levothyroxine,Levoxyl etc.

its NP thyroid. the co that make it is Acella . but if you look it up online its NP thyroid. google it  you'll see Kevin

Acella Pharmaceutical produces NP Thyroid. Acella is a nickname for NP Thyroid.  The NP Thyroid approximate equivalent strength chart conversion: ½ grain = 30mg, 1 grain =60mg, 1 ½ grain = 90mg.  NP Thyroid tablets can be swallowed whole or taken sublingually (under the tongue).
