B-12 and Hypothyroid and Gallbladder surger/ Hypothyroid

Okay, so I went to see the GI doc and he ran some additional tests before I go to see the Endo (tomorrow! finally!). Nurse called me today and told me everything is "real fine, honey. No indication of celiac, wheat, or gluten allergies. No antibodies present." So then I asked about the B12 test. She said it was "fine" the number is 961 with the range of 211-911. Now, I know that hypothyroidism and b-12 deficiency go hand-in-hand but what about high b-12? I'll post my ranges of tests from since 2006. I'm not on medication yet but hope to be tomorrow.
Also, here's some more results from past lab results:
2005 TSH 1.63 range 0.35-4.94, didn't test T4 or T3
2006 TSH 2.61 range 0.34-5.60, didn't test T4 or T3
2007 TSH 3.93 range 0.34-5.60, T4 was 0.62 range 0.50-1.50
2008 TSH 4.37 range 0.34-5.60, T4 or T3 not tested
2009 TSH 3.5 range 0.3-4.7, T4 1.02 range 0.80-1.80 (new doc who finally told me I am not "normal")

Also does removing your gallbladder have any negative impact on thyroid meds? I find out next week if I have to have it removed and before I make any decisions I want to know if anyone knows if I'll have to stop medication or anything due to having it removed... I have learned not to just depend on doctor's advice/diagnosis (or in my case non-help until recently).

So sorry to hear that you got a dud. Don't give up though! Ask around and find a thyroid specialist. Most endo's specialize in diabetes not thyroid, so keep searching. It might even end up  being an internal med dr.
Yes I feel much better now that my gallbladder is out! My ultrasound showed thickening of the walls and sludge. My hida scan didn't show anything negative, and my rejection rate was 52% I think. My dr still thought gallbladder bad....so surgeon agreed. MY pathology report showed chronic inflammation, so it is a darn good thing my drs went with their instincts! The tests don't always show the truth of what is going on with the gallbladder. My surgeon told me that....he has found many diseased gallbladders when tests were all negative.
Keep your chin up and don't give up!!  :)

Thanks laura1967,

Actually, I had a terrible visit with my endo.  They prescribed me phentermine (same class as amphetamine) for weight loss.  Told me they don't treat symptoms (which is what they're doing for the weight...just treating THAT symptom!)  I realize that I received terrible care and am waiting for someone to get in touch with me from the office.  I was hoping to get a bunch of tests run (at least rechecking my levels plus FT3!) but she was not interested in that at ALL.  I literally had to beg for Vitamin D to be checked.  I'll get that result by Tuesday I think.  I'll find out about the surgery next week or the following week after my HIDA scan and small bowel scan (gotta rule out Crohn's and stuff with the small bowel).  The GI doc was super nice and he seemed like he cared, asked for notes from the endo.  I'm getting an endoscopy from him today so I'm going to have my boyfriend let me know what happened, really, and see if he has any advice (plus this will let me know what kind of doctor he is).
Thanks for your help! Do you feel better now that the GB is out?
And, I'm not going to take the phentermine.  I realize this was a big screw up on them.

Hi there and welcome!

Okay first thing: You are hypo and hopefully this new dr will give you meds. The normal range for tsh is now .30-3.0, and most people feel best around a 1.0. Your Free T4 is low end normal too. With meds this should correct itself. Ask the dr to run a free t3 with your next set of tests.
Gallbladder surgery will have an impact on your thyroid as far as stress. It will lower your levels and cause you to be more hypo for a little while until it recovers. I just had mine removed 3 weeks ago and going through the lovely hypo symptoms. The body and thyroid will recover usally within 6-8 weeks. Just make sure to take thyroid meds as prescribed by dr when he prescribes them.
Your B12 levels are fantastic! You are very lucky! No worries that it is above the high normal....water soluble vitamin and not toxic. That will help greatly with energy. How is your Vit D level?
