Graves and trying to conceive

Hi.  I was diagnosed with Graves about a year ago.  My doctor did not take the antibodies test, so thought it would resolve itself and was just thyroiditis.  Just recently was the antibodies test was taken to confirm it is indeed Graves.  My question is that I am trying to get pregnant, am 35, and going back and forth on which treatment to choose.  Please help!

Hi Sandra!  I think I am going to do the RAI.  I am not taking any meds, and hear that the RAI is safer in the long run than taking the meds. while you are pregnant.  Even though we have to wait 6 mos. to start trying agin, I just want to do what is the safest for me and the baby in the long run.

HELLO - I'm 35 years old with Graves disease, high thyroid antibodies and trying to conceive too!
What are your options right now for treatment? Are you on medication? I have had 2 miscarriages in the past 3 months and today I just found out that it can be associated to the thyroid antibodies... I'm really depressed!
