I am sooooo tired

I am a 24 year old female I weigh 145  lbs, and I seem to be normal, but I am sooooooo tired all the time. I have been tested for anemia, and I even take a crazy amount of supplements like super b complexes and such. I exercise, but have to FORCE myself to do so because I am so tired all day. I go to bed at a normal hour and get 8 hours of sleep when I can fall asleep without tossing and turning for hours. I eat a healthy diet mostly fruits and vegetables, barely and sugars or salt, not too many carbs. I never eat fried foods. I am a size 5-6. My mom says that I act like I'm 50  even though I'm 24. She has more energy than I do. what is wrong?

Hi,

yes, get checkeed for thyroid.  If that shows nothing then get checked for sleep apnea.
At 24 you shouldn't be tired all the time.

Let us know how you go.

Same here ............ I am WORN out all the time ..... but last year my TSH level was 4.0  this year it was 6.6  Started the generic of the sythroid .. at 25mcg ........... they upped me to 50mcg a day .. we will see in a month or two if that is helping.  Going to ask for a thyroid scan at my next appointment.  I wonder if my TSH levels are making my FSH levels out of this world .. causeing me to prematurly menopause ...... life ***** sometimes .... what are you to do ...  :(

I do eat meat and fish. I guess scheduling a full blood test would be best?

Well, do you eat meat and fish (not only vegetables)? If no anemia I would do a complete blood test to see if there is any clue..., would test thyroid hormones,(TSH, free T3 and free T4), allso thyroid antibodies (TPO and anti-Tg), ANA's, protein electrophoreses, dsDNA, C3, C4, RA, and others to see also your immune system, but one thing I'm sure, if you don't sleep you become tired, it's like a cycle...
About anemia, have you tested for ferritin, transferin, iron in serum, Vit B12, folic acid, hemoglobin electrophoreses? Being tired can be so many things.....
