Colds and retail

Okay I think I have had over a bazillion colds this year. I am trying to take more vitamin c. But I still keep catching them. I don't know if there is a way to prevent them or not. But any tips or ideas would be helpful. Thanks:)

Are you sure its colds?
Maybe it could be sinus problems?

I will add Vitamine D to Shannon's list above.

I have noticed that in the summer, my 6 year old is healthy as a horse.  Of course it's when she's out in the sunshine and in the pool (Vit D and chlorine to wash off those germs) and away from the other million kids at school who are constantly ill.  However...

She recently (a couple of months ago) got pretty sick.  I took her into the doctor to check out the never-ending cough.  A sinus x-ray showed infection and a rx of antibiotics followed.  She seemed to get better, but when I started her on some vit D (since I have issues with D myself), every residual symptom cleared up.  We haven't had a cold since.

In years past, the entire fall and winter were filled with one cold followed (almost leading into) another.  Which she then passed to me...  I had to try to stop the madness.  So far, it's worked.

I've gone so far as to wear a mask before i enter the dr's office.the receptionist asked if i was sick and i said no i'm here for a physical, but look at everyone in the waiting area.
( all sniffling, sneezing, coughing, hacking) I might be paranoid and look stupid, but i can't afford to get sick. i catch everything the wind blows because my immune system is already compromised. I thought about putting a sign on my door. If you've sneezed, coughed, have itchy throat or have been around someone who has done the above stay out of my house!

I actually stick my face in my shirt when someone coughs while in line at the grocery store.i don't even try to hide it. i figure they can't cover their mouths when coughing so i make sure they see me ducking for cover! I wash my hands constantly. and no i am not a clean freak,  I'm a don't want your germs freak. I used to not be that way, grocery carts and public doors you have to touch, think about the bathroom stall doors, and the handles yuckkkkkk.
If people are sick they need to stay home. I'm sure their bosses are thrilled they've never missed a day in 18 years however, they pass it on to others because of inconsideration and some of those who catch the ****  have enough sense to stay home. i don't know if your work has any windows you can open but if they do, open some windows. get some fresh cool air flowing, it might **** someone off, but at least you might kill whatever keeps bouncing around in the room back and forth. omg i have become my mother. lol

I was having that problem in the late fall/early winter and I just started taking anything and everything to boost my immune system.  On any given day I will take one or more of the following:

EmergenC
Airborne
Acai Juice
Green Tea
A Multi-Vitamin

And I had a Flu Shot.  Since then, I've been able to avoid even colds my daughter has brought home from daycare, which I've not be able to before.

This cold season has been brutal, everyone at work keeps catching back to back colds...it's bad :(
