Graves and new test results

Hi All,
Well I had a full panel done last week and surprise surprise, I left the house without grabbing my results!!  The only one I remember is this:  my TSH is .006
Can anyone explain what this means to me using non-mathematical terms?
My Levo was reduced from 75mcg to 50mcg last week.  I'm feeling better, I think.
If you have read any of my other posts, you will know that my biggest symptom lately has been hair loss and it still hasn't stopped! Blah.  Did this happen to any of you and will it stop happening once my levels get leveled????
I'm a little worried.

Anyways, sorry that I forgot all of my T3 and T4 results and only have my TSH for you to decipher.  I just want to know, what should my TSH be exactly?  Am I trying to get to 1.0 or what?  I'm not a mathematical person, so I need some help deciphering. Thanks so much!!

Ok, so with out cancer there is no reason for a doc to have a specific tsh in mind. But for most .006 is hyper. Were all different.

Those other labs used are very outdated. Free thyroxine index might be the same as free T4,(and its high) but you need to see Free T3. Need free t3 tested.

Adjust your free t3 and free t4 to where you feel best, tsh will follow. For most tsh will be around 1, but dont use that as a guide.

Yes your D is low, its out of range. You may want to repost about D to see how others treat it best.

Ok I was a little confusing, sorry about that.  I did not have cancer, I was diagnosed hyPer in and did RAI in Aug 09.  I went hyPo after that (apparently)...now we've been adjusting my meds trying to find the right level.
My results:

TSH .006                          reference intervals .450-4.5
T4 12.3                             reference intervals  4.5-12.0
T3 uptake 40                    reference intervals 24-39
Free thyroxine index 4.9   reference intervals 1.2-4.9
Vitamin D       25.1            reference intervals  32.0-100.0

To me it looks like I am more on track??  I was still having symptoms of being too hyper, that's why my medication is now at 50 mcg.  I have felt better these past two weeks, not as shaky.  My main symptom is hair loss!  Also, does this look like I should be taking a vitamin d supplement?  Thanks for your help!

Personally I dont go by the keeping the TSH around 1.0 as if mine is under 2.3 and over 2.5 then I feel like cr@p.
Everyone is different in regards to levels.
I find I function better with borderline hypo than hyper in regards to levels.
My FT3 is always around 4.3 - 4.6 (3.0 -5.5) and my FT4 around 17.0 (10.0 - 19.0) so as you can see I am not one of the classic 'ordinary ' people lol.
You will 'know'  your levels you feel best at and if the level of TSH you have now isnt making you feel well...then it needs to be raised  as Lazymoose states.

I was also a cancer sufferer but my Doc believes its better me being hypo borderline because of heart issues at the hyper levels.

Couldnt your Levo be reduced to 62.5mcg?

I take 62.5mcg 4 times a week and 50mcg 3 times a week.
I did take more at one stage but went hyper so it was decreased.

OK confusing.  You say Graves, but your on a hypo med.  So your medically hypo from RAI?

Did you have cancer? This is important to mention, docs like a certain TSH then.

You are trying to get your frees and thus, tsh where you feel best. For many your tsh is a little low. This cant be confirmed without seeing how high your frees are. All that is compared with how you feel. When the day comes that you feel your best make a note of it on your lab sheet, those numbers will be your goal to aim for.

Lowering your Levo will make your TSH higher than where your at now .006.

So, how do you feel?
