UPDATE ON VOICE
ENT THOUGHT VOCAL CORD WAS PARALYZED.THEY DID A EMG AND THE MUSCLE AND THE RECURRENT LARYNGEAL NERVE WERE WORKING.HE SAID THAT THE VOCAL CORD WAS OUT OF JOINT. IT HAPPENED WHEN THEY PUT BREATHING TUBE IN AT THE TIME OF SURGERY.THEY SAID SINCE IT HAD BEEN OVER 4 MONTHS THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PUT IT BACK IN JOINT.I HAD SURGERY MONDAY JULY 7 AND THEY WERE ABLE TO PUT JOINT BACK IN PLACE.I HAVE TO NOT TALK FOR 3 DAYS.I HAVE SORE THROAT ON RIGHT SIDE AND I AM VERY WEAK.I GUESS THIS IS FROM ANESTHESIA.WILL REPORT BACK FRIDAY WHEN I HERE MY VOICE
Yes!! Thank God they tested, just didn't "DECIDE." THere are no telling the number of medical errors because drs just decide they "know" what the problem is, no need to delve any further.

OH MY GOSH . .thank goodness they tested and didn't just brush you off. Please make sure you post how you are doing when you get voice back on Friday .. so so sorry you are going thru this.
