RAI or SURGERY???
How many of you have had RAI? How many have had surgery? Could you post how everythig went afterwards??
I had both actually...RAI first for Graves then TT 3 months later for Thyca.
I had RAI June 2008 and levels are pretty much fine now but I get the odd ocassion where the levels go a bit 'wonky' especially if I am under heavy stress but nothing that I cant fix.
I would have RAI again if thats any consolation to you. :)

Two surgeries, due to Hashimoto's and a pre-cancer. RAI is usually reserved for Graves disease.

RAI June 5, 2008 - it was a (deleted) ride and I did not start feeling okay till end of May 2009.
Now that I'm stable and doing ok things are going better. Has definelty left me changed and I've had to learn how to function in the post-RAI me.
