As mentioned the TPO ab test indicated Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which usually causes low FT4 and FT3 as the thyroid gland is being attacked and destroyed by the antibodies. Along with this typically the TSH rises. Your results are just the opposite. So there are two possibilities that may be in play. One is that the Hshi's has caused nodules on the gland that can leak hormone faster and cause high levels of FT4 and FT3, which will cause a suppressed TSH. The other possibility is that you could have Graves Disease along with the Hashi's. And just to make your day, your sleep problems and anxiety could be related to low cortisol.
So I don't know anything more to say at this time other than suggesting that you also get tested for the possibility of Graves', with the Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin test (TSI), and also a test for cortisol. Doctors don't like to order a diurnal saliva cortisol panel of 4 tests. Instead they order a morning serum cortisol test. Also while you are at it, I recommend Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin tests as well. Thyroid patients are frequently too low in the ranges for those as well.
The Dr did a radioactive iodine scan. Symptom wise...I don't sleep well at night, anxious at times, heavy menstrual cycle...I've also had my menstrual cycle twice in a month with the last six months, heart palpitations, I sometimes think I'm itchier than I should be.
What kind of scan was done? What was the uptake test? Not familiar with the scan/uptake you mentioned.
Your Free T4, Free T3 and TSH are certainly not normal results. Plus your Thyroid Peroxidase test was above range, indicating Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. The high thyroid hormone results could indicate the presence of Hashi's related nodules on your thyroid gland. Those leak thyroid hormone faster than normal and cause high FT4 and FT3 levels.
