TSH level of 0.6. Is this borderline hyperthyroidism?

I have been in a horrible work environment for the last 9 months. Prior to this my last TSH level was 1.7 (done right before I moved to this department). As my work situation has worsened, so have my levels evidently. I am experiencing sensitivity to both heat and cold,  tremors, headaches, serious anxiety (jumpy, weird paranoia-like thoughts) and if I am not anxious - I am bed-ridden with what feels like depression. I have gone from 140 pounds to 121 as well.Total personality change.

I have a full thyroid blood work scheduled for next week. I am a 48 year female with no prior issues like this.

I got the results from the remaining tests. I am not sure if the first line indicates my level went from 0.6 to 0.96.

F TSH W/REFLEX TO FT4    0.96  (mIU/L)
F T3, FREE 3.0    2.3-4.2 (pg/mL)
F THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODIES <1    < or = 1 (IU/mL)
F THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES 1 <9 (IU/mL)

Doctor indicated no worries. Insight?

Unfortunately, TSH isn't enough to tell us the whole story, but your symptoms paint a pretty good picture... They all match hyperthyroidism quite well.

I hope the full thyroid blood work you have scheduled includes Free T4 and Free T3, which are the actual thyroid hormones and are necessary to determine your actual thyroid status.

You should also make sure to have thyroid antibodies tested...you'll want to test for, both, Graves Disease, which is always associated with hyperthyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis, which is, typically, associated with hypothyroidism, but very often is characterized by periods of hyper in the beginning stages.

The tests you need to determine if you have Hashimoto's are Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb).  The definitive test for Grave Disease is Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI).

Once you have the test results, you can post them here and we'll help you interpret them...
