TSH is variable and fluctuate for a variety of reasons; some people are actually comfortable with higher than normal TSH.

Constipation is a sign of being hypo; indigestion can be a sign of either hypo or hyper.

Can you get another full panel of tests done, including TSH, FT4 *and* FT3?  FT3 should be done EVERY time you have labs, because that's the hormone that the body actually uses.  FT4 is not used directly, but must be converted to FT3; if there's a problem with the conversion, symptoms won't be alleviated.

Did you have all of the tests done at the same lab?
yes i did
Are the reference ranges the same for all 3 sampling events?
yes they are

The results for FT4 on both Oct 19, 2011 and Nov 5, 2011, as well as the FT3 on Nov 5, 2011, indicate that you were over medicated
yes but why the result of TSH wah high in 12-mar -29 ? are Constipation and Indigestion may be the cause ?

What are the reference ranges for the FT3 and FT4.  Ranges vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report.

You should also make sure you get FT3 done every time you test.  That's the active hormone and correlates best with symptoms, so it's important to know its level each time.

Even though you might have been hypo for 4 years, I think you might be worrying too much about the hypo affecting your height or puberty.  182 cm (5'9") is a normal height for many young men.  At 20 yrs old, you should be past puberty and if there were issues, getting adequate amounts of hormones will correct any problems.

If your thyroid hormone levels are adequate for you, there should be no complications of hypothyroidism, delay of puberty, slow growth or any of the things you mentioned.

If your symptoms are not being alleviated, your dosage is not right for you.

TSH of 10 is too high and indicates that you are still hypo.  "Normal" T3 and T4 don't mean a lot to most of us.  We'd like to see the actual numbers, please, along with the reference ranges, which  vary from lab to lab.  Also, please indicate of those are FREE T3 and FREE T4, or if they are for total T3 and total T4.  Testing for totals is obsolete and of little value.

Have you had any thyroid tests done?  You should get TSH, Free T3 and Free T4, then post the results and reference ranges for members to assess.

Adequate thyroid hormones are critical to developing fetuses, but once born, hypothyroidism will not cause mental retardation, though it can cause one to feel foggy, unable to concentrate, etc.

Please post test results and reference ranges; members will be better able to assess your situation.
