armour causing anxiety

I have been taking Armour for the past 2 months. I have a history of anxiety and taking high doses of 5Htp(amino acids) for the past 7 months. I still have headaches daily and was hoping the amour woulf help with that. It is helping my thyroid numbers a bit but now I have higher anxiety all of a sudden. Eye twitching daily for the past week and more shaky than normal. Will this pass or is this going to be what happens to me with any of these meds. IN the mean time I stopped a couple of days ago and the twitching stopped but I am very tired.

Don't know about anyone else but I gotta have that Ft4 in the upper 1/3 with Ft3 up there too. This gets rid of all anxiety. If my T3 gets too high, I can feel the anxiety also. Yes, selenium really helps for me also.

A suggestion for you - could be to try a selenium supplement of 200mgs. daily.

You could be in a situation of storing your Vit B and not absorbing it as it is intended. This goes along with storing T3 hormones.

I think you have issues and should persue that with your doctor.

I was only taking 30mgs.
I havent had magnesium testing but my b12 is very low even after getting b12 injections every week for 6 weeks. my D was also low and my ferritan very low. I take iron and b12 daily and nothing seems to be going up.

You're plummeted on your Free T3 with it. Actually you look hyPOthyroid with those numbers.

I would have your doctor relook at the ratio of RT3 and FT3 together -

What dose of Armour are  you on. If you are on to high of a dose it can could cause the anxiety and shaking. I had headaches daily until I got on the correct dose of Armour. I am now on natur-throid. I don't know if you know but Armour recently changed it's formula and I started having heart palp and some of my hypo symtoms on the new Armour so that is why I am on natur-throid now. Post your dose of Armour and how much  you started on. Good Luck.
