Adrenal problems often go hand in hand with thyroid disease.
Testing for cushings and adrenal insufficiency (opposite problems) would be a good idea.
I did not have the radio active treatment because my thyroid function is now normal, my endo wants me to take a test for cushings.
Did you have Radioactive Iodine treatment?
You said you never had hyper symptoms all those years, but you had hypo symptoms. Unless the symptoms are severe, it is sometimes hord to differentiate between the two.
Muscle pain is hyper.
Muscle ache is hypo.
Exhaustion is hyper.
Fatigue is hypo.
Racing heart, skipped beats, chest pain is hyper.
Skipped beats, rapid beats, an odd breathless heart feeling is hypo.
Body weight loss or gain is a stab in the dark.
Hair loss can happen with either.
It makes it hard to tell what is what unless you are severely hypo or severely hyper.
I went to get my blood checked today because for the last week I have been feeling more and more hypo.
My TSH is 0.13. I'm hyper. I'm not extremely hyper, so I don't have the extreme symptoms I had last year. I have been hypo and hyper enough times to know the difference, but I was shocked to see today that I was exactly the opposite of what I expected my tests to say.
The symptoms can be confusing.
What exactly was your TSH in March?
