Just trying to get back into the swing of working again after vacation.
I haven't been on much lately.
Thank you very much for your advice. I appreicate it and will definately do some research!
Stella !! where you been ! lol I have a ? for you..
We'll it could, but being a Graves patient myself, I would be concerned on if that is a possibility. Hyerthyroidism - vs- Graves can be related in many symptoms, but I think antibodies make different situations too.
You're health is your life - and if being a pest is a thing you're doctor has burdened you with - then I would strongly consider looking for someone who will help you.
Hyperthyroidism whether Graves or not is nothing your doctor should be fooling with. You and THEM should know if you are "autoimmune" hyperthyroid ( Graves) or not. At this time- when you were first told you have the situation - I am suprised your doctor hasn't decided to monitor you better before you have the specialisy appt.
This may not be the right med to stabilize you and research hyperthyroidism and cardio vascular disease. This situation could do additional damage if not maintained correctly.
I have not been tested for Graves...at least not that I know of. I was just called by my doctor told I was hyperthryoid and that they wanted me to see a specialist, given propranolol and then nothing...I was just told I would see a specialist in May. I am afraid that since I have medicaid (I have been out of work since I graduated from grad school last May) that I will not receive much help and will be seen as a pest.
I was just wondering if how I am feeling under medication is just me, could I be making my symptoms worse?
When I was hyperthyroid it was very uncomfortable too. I shook - trembling hands - and was "on edge"
Where you tested for Graves? If you are sufferering like this - under medication - waiting two months is not right. Call the doctor that found this issue and get in again. You need more monitoring until things settle down.
