on the lighter side of thyroid Cancer

Is your Surgeon a real McDreamy or McSteamy? Does it make things a bit easier and alot more interesting when going for your doctors visit.

Nice to see your gastroenterologist is pretty fine. My gastro is a Mcgoofy. Yep, real stranger character. Nothing to be desired.......however, I don't think you can use your gastro as your Endo, wrong end. LOL Atleast your visit is made a little easier having a Mccutie.

My surgeon was McCutie because he looked so young and boyish.  He was new and all the nurses would ask about him.

The dr in the hospital was a bit on the McDreamy side.  He looked like the bachelor guy on that afternoon dr show.  But then he seemed to be the 'bit too much into self,' 'passive' and 'don't ask questions' type.  So that all quickly turned him in McJerky.

Has anyone ever watched that dr show?  Is it like Oprah but all things medical?

If we put all of our Mcbaldy's together, they'd look a an open carton of eggs. I guess we 've earned the right to make funnies about our drs. I guess it was keeps us  hanging in there when the times are tough. As much as my Endo erks me, I still have to laugh at him at times. But not because of the McBaldy thing, it's that he's so full of himself. Now my other docs......yea baby!!!!!!!

Sounds like my Endo. It is so amazing that;they all say that it's not thyroid related. These Endo's need to read what we are saying. Too bad about McEgo., My Surgeon is a McSteamy and my Primary care is Mcdreamy. My Endo is a McBaldy that really thinks he's the entertainer of the year. Likes to drop names of sports celebs that he has staying at his home some times. I had to burst his bubble by telling him that the team really *****. If it weren't for Lebron James, Cleveland would be a complete zero. It's funny how my Endo takes up my time talking about sport celebs and leaves no time to talk about my condition. Yep, he's a real piece of work.

I definitely had a McDreamy ( if that means good looking) .I know it's a reference to a TV show, but the name escapes me.

My surgeon was McEgo, he thought he was all that and a bag of chips!  And my endo.....McItsNotThyroidRelated.  Let's see.....none of my issues happened till AFTER my thyroid was removed but somehow none of them are thyroid related. It's just an all out mystery!

I'm with Utah... I have McBaldy for my endo, although he's not in Utah....  it's his twin.  And my surgeon, who's now retired... was McWhittie (serious white hair and old, thus the "retired" thing...)

Actually my surgeon looks a lot like Meredith Grey but has the personality of Izzy (cheerleader personality - not the ditsy side).  My endo, however, is a McBaldy.  :-)
