I have started taking hydrocortizone for my adrenal but now my doctor wants me to take phosphatidylserine. Anyone ever hear of or take this stuff? Thanks.

I think you are right. Were the two studies you mentioned from the link by AR-10 or from some other source. Thanks.

I read AR's limk on this supplement and I am not impressed with your doctors suggestions.

I do not know your thyroid condition - if you have one at all - but commonly many are hypothyroid. The base of this supplement is a soy biproduct which have negitive effects on the thyroid whether healthy or not.

I did read however 2 studies were done on the effect it has in cortisol. Yet these studies were not very supportive.

If you have gone through the work up and found adrenal fatigue and choose not to remain on HC ( I am trying to aviod that altogether) and are tring to repair some damage naturally. I would research on gray unrefined sea salt and Vit C. The adrenals thrive on Vit C and taking this supplement does help repair. 3000 mg can be used - or up to bowel tolerance.

No.
But I Googled it and read about it.

What kind of doctor are you going to?
