I had my thyroid removed some months ago-----and have had some trouble getting balanced.  My blood tests
have come back high, even though I am on a low dosage of synthroid.  My last test was better  (0.83)  but
I am still feeling somewhat hyper----even though my doctor says that this is a more normal reading.  Is
it possible to still feel hyper at this level----or is this my imagination.  Appreciate you comments

The lower your TSH, the lower your medication.  It sounds like it should be totally opposite. It took me a long time to comprehend and I still don't get the whole story but I know that when you're hyper, the meds decrease.  Counter-intuitive , no?
Mine is .15 and my dr. says it's too high for me, I'm a wreck and haven't slept, gained so much weight, feel lousy every day  and I don't know how I can have so much hormones when I don't have a thyroid. Is it the pituitary gland ladies?
By the way, listen to your body..it's not your imagination, you're feeling what you think you are.  Tell your dr. especially if your heart races.
Wish I could help you, but I can't help myself get all this into my brain.
