lots of things going wrong Please help!!!

My name is Kenny and i am in desperate need of some help. About three months ago i started experiencing some tingling in my left leg and arm. I thought nothing of it at the time. just figured my leg or arm was falling asleep. now it is in both of my legs, feet, both arms, both hands, and two days ago it moved into my hips and private area. I have also lost 30 lbs in the last 3 months, and i am very week and fatigue all the time now. I have no control of my bladder, my back is in cronic pain, as well as my neck. It doesnt seem to be that bad in the morning but as the day goes on it gets worse, sometimes leaving one or both legs numb all together. I am a glass installer by trade and i haven,t been able to work for a week now it is so bad. I have seem a uroligist, a nueroligist, and a rhumitoligist. They are all stumped. The MRI, CAT scan, X-Rays, blood wrk all came back ok. The EEG and The EMG showed that my nerves are delayed, and one blood test showed that the emzimes in my liver are elevated. I am at a loss and i need to get this figured out so i can get back to work. It just seems to be getting worse everyday.

The MRI was of all three parts of my spine as well as my brain and the CAT Scan was of my abdomin and they said they didnt find any thing wrong in any of those tests. i thought maybe a sist too because it runs in my family, and back in january they found a testicular sist on me. they have told me that it is not that though.

Hello! Sorry to hear about the problems you've been having...Was the CAT scan of your neck and surrounding structures? If so, get an MRI done...It sounds to me like this is all coming from your high neck area...I'm not sure about the liver enzyme elevation without seeing other labs...If you are taking a lot of pain medications -especially ibuprofen or acetaminophen (tylenol) containing ones, that can cause the elevation by itself...If you have a disk in your neck that is deteriorating (starting to compress or bulge), the spinal cord and big nerves that sprout out between the vertebrae could become compressed (squished!) and, without correction, the damage could become permanent...Make sure you've had a head CAT done as well, just to verify there isn't something like a cyst or tumor putting pressure on the areas that control muscle movement...
Until you get diagnosed and your pain relieved, watch out for the "pain/stress" cycle. (Chronic pain creates stress and unbalances brain chemicals...The stress creates more pain, etc, etc, and results in depression -sometimes severe enough to make the patient suicidal...) In the mean time, if you can, massage therapy and ice compresses (15-30 min at a time) may help keep the area muscles loose (less compression on the nerves) and the ice will bring natural cortisone (anti inflammatory agent) to the area...
I know this *****, but you have a real illness. I believe an orthopedic specialist is probably going to help you more than the others...Hang in there...        MM
